BPRD Oregon Spotted Frog Safe Harbor Agreement, Bend, OR.
Currently working with the Bend Park and Recreation District to develop a Safe Harbor Agreement for a population of Oregon spotted frogs and associated Critical Habitat located along the Deschutes River in the Old Mill District of Bend. Services include habitat surveys, coordination with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, BPRD, and public stakeholders regarding management objectives; and preparation of a Safe Harbor Agreement and management plan to outline strategies for improving Oregon spotted frog habitat conditions and overall population success. The management plan will address appropriate monitoring and control of water elevations during critical breeding, development, and overwintering stages, and will outline proposed habitat improvements through riparian vegetation management.

Port of Astoria Marine Terminal and West Mooring Basin, Astoria, OR.
Currently providing environmental consulting services to the Port of Astoria regarding U.S. Army Corps Section 10 and Oregon DSL Removal/Fill permit processes for the continued maintenance and upgrading of their existing marine terminal and public moorage facilities. Services include coordination with state and federal permitting agencies, preparation of environmental permit applications (i.e., JPAs and ESA compliance documents, including Biological Assessments), coordination on PSET sediment evaluation for dredging, and tracking of permit timelines and progress. Also providing consultation services regarding mitigation alternatives and permit compliance.
  
St. Hilaire Brothers and East Improvement District Irrigation Intake, Umatilla County, OR.
Currently providing multiple environmental consulting services for the proposed modification and expansion of an existing irrigation intake station located along the Columbia River in Umatilla County. Services include coordination with state and federal permitting agencies, preparation of a Joint Permit Application for a Corps Section 10 and DSL removal/fill permit, preparation of a Biological Assessment to address potential impacts to ESA-listed fish species, preparation of a NEPA Environmental Assessment to address proposed right-of-way through a USFWS managed National Wildlife Refuge, and preparation and management of real estate applications for USFWS right-of-way and U.S. Army Corps easement modifications. Also providing oversight of cultural resource surveys, and proposed mitigation alternatives for project impacts.

SROA Oregon Spotted Frog Safe Harbor Agreement, Sunriver, OR.
Currently working with the Sunriver Owners Association to develop an Safe Harbor Agreement for a population of Oregon spotted frogs located in the Great Meadow at Sunriver. Services include coordination with USFWS, ODFW, SROA, and public stakeholders regarding management objectives, preparation of a Safe Harbor Agreement and management plan to outline strategies for improving Oregon spotted frog habitat conditions and overall population success. The management plan addresses invasive species control, habitat improvements through adaptive vegetation management, and appropriate monitoring of water elevations during critical breeding, development, and overwintering stages. Also conducting Oregon spotted frog surveys and bullfrog surveys efforts within Sunriver waterways to monitor the populations and eradicate invasive bullfrogs.

Baseline Apartments Habitat Assessment, Gresham, OR.
Provided environmental consulting services to the City of Gresham regarding Endangered Species Act compliance with the National Flood Insurance Program for development of a proposed apartment complex located partially within the floodplain of Fairview Creek. Services included preparation of a Habitat Assessment to address potential impacts to ESA-listed salmonids, and coordination with FEMA representatives regarding ESA compliance for a Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR).

Bay Boulevard Wharf Replacement, Newport, OR.
Provided environmental consulting services for the proposed replacement of an existing wharf located along SW Bay Boulevard in Yaquina Bay. Services include coordination with state and federal permitting agencies (including the U.S. Army Corps, NMFS, ODFW, Oregon DSL, and DEQ), preparation of a Joint Permit Application for impacts to jurisdictional waters, and preparation of Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammal Protection Act compliance documentation to address potential project impacts to listed fish species and protected marine mammals.


Columbia River Bar Pilots Moorage Facility, Astoria, OR.
Provided environmental consulting services for construction of a proposed new moorage dock along the Columbia River in Astoria. Services include coordination with state and federal permitting agencies, preparation of a Joint Permit Application for impacts to jurisdictional waters, preparation of a Biological Assessment to address potential impacts to listed fish species, and identification of project mitigation.

Siletz Boat Works Revetment Repair, Newport, OR.
Provided environmental consulting services for a proposed riprap revetment repair project along the Yaquina River in Newport. Services included coordination with state and federal permitting agencies, preparation of a Joint Permit Application for impacts to jurisdictional waters, and preparation of Endangered Species Act programmatic compliance documentation to address potential impacts to listed fish species.

Amkor Fisheries Facility, Newport, OR.
Provided environmental consulting services for a proposed live seafood holding facility located along the Yaquina River. Services include coordination with state and federal permitting agencies, preparation of a Joint Permit Application for a US Army Corps Section 10 and DSL Removal/Fill permit, preparation of Endangered Species Act compliance documentation to address potential project impacts to listed fish species, and coordination with DEQ regarding NPDES permitting requirements.


Gresham Environmental Overlay Project, Gresham, OR.
Currently working with City of Gresham to amend their Floodplain Development Code in accordance with recent Endangered Species Act guidelines mandated through FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Program. Services include coordination with Oregon DLCD, FEMA, City staff, and public stakeholders regarding current NFIP/ESA guidelines, and development of a floodplain Model Ordinance.

Hunziker – Wall Street Improvements, Tigard, OR.
Provided environmental consulting services for proposed transportation improvements and road realignment along SW Wall Street in the City of Tigard. Services included wetland determination and Natural Resource Assessment fieldwork, coordination with local, state and federal permitting agencies, and preparation of an NRA report for submittal to Clean Water Services.

Willamette Partnership Floodplain Development Review, Portland, OR.
Currently providing environmental consulting services to the Willamette Partnership with regard to the recent Endangered Species Act guidelines mandated through FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Program . Services include coordination with DLCD, FEMA, public stakeholders, and local agencies regarding current NFIP/ESA guidelines, and preparation of memorandums and city code cross-reference documents to clarify how the proposed Reasonable and Prudent Alternatives of the NFIP Biological Opinion may affect current and proposed floodplain development activities.

Garden Corner Curve Concept Study, Tualatin, OR.
Provided environmental consulting services for proposed transportation improvements and road realignment along Garden Corner Curve in the City of Tualatin. Services included wetland determination and natural resource assessment fieldwork, coordination with local, state and federal permitting agencies, and preparation of a memorandum summarizing potential environmental permitting requirements, mitigation, and avoidance measures.

Central Irrigation Intake Project, Umatilla, OR. 
Provided consulting services regarding environmental compliance for the transfer of easement and water rights to a recently updated irrigation withdrawal intake located on federal lands along the Columbia River in eastern Oregon. Services included preparation of a Request for Use of Lands for the Real Estate division of the U.S. Army Corps, as well as coordination with private stakeholders and other state and federal permitting agencies.

Bend Whitewater Park, Bend, OR.
Provided environmental consulting services to the Bend Park and Recreation District for construction and maintenance of their whitewater park located along the Deschutes River in the Old Mill District of Bend. Services included preparation of all state and federal permit applications, including a Biological Assessment to address potential impacts to Oregon spotted frogs, preparation of permit modifications to allow for repair and maintenance, and extensive coordination and consultation with state and federal permitting agencies. Also obtained Scientific Take Permits and conducted fish/amphibian salvage/rescue within isolated work areas along the Deschutes River.


Mercer Canyons Farm Irrigation Intake, Benton County, WA.
Provided environmental consulting services for installation of an irrigation intake debris boom along the Columbia River. Services included coordination with local, state, and federal permitting agencies, preparation of a Joint Aquatic Resource Permit Application and Hydraulic Project Approval for impacts to jurisdictional waters, and preparation of ESA compliance documentation to address potential impacts to ESA-listed fish species.


Nasell River Piling Replacement, Pacific County, WA.
Provided environmental consulting services for the replacement of moorage pilings along the lower Naselle River in Willapa Bay. Services included coordination with local, state, and federal permitting agencies, preparation of a Joint Aquatic Resource Permit Application and Hydraulic Project Approval for impacts to jurisdictional waters, preparation of Endangered Species Act programmatic compliance documentation to address potential impacts to ESA-listed fish and bird species, and preparation of a Shoreline Development Permit Applicaton for Pacific County.
